Things are Looking Good for Jada!

Jadakiss's new album The Last Kiss is doing really well! Predictions say that he is on his way to selling between 100,000 and 125,000 units this week. Now that's is just remarkable especially with the way rap is nowadays and with the use of the internet. Too many people are downloading these albums for free and they are usually bullshit which is why they are flopping. Awful music. The people do not like what they hear so they end up not buying it. There are not a lot of rap artists left that can pull off 100k sales in one week. It's good to see that there are people that still know what real hip hop is. Support Jadakiss!!!!! Go buy the album because it's straight fire!!!! At least hear a few tracks to see if you do want to purchase it. I know you will because you won't be disappointed!

Some Rappers Really Want to Reach the Top of the Mountain

Lupe Fiasco - Lupe Fiasco's the Cool (Deluxe Version)

Lupe Fiasco is not your ordinary rapper. I think he is light years ahead of these other cats music wise (and yet people still sleeping on him and don't respect him for some reason). But I would never imagine him climbing an actual mountain, or any rapper. Well that appears to be the case. Lupe is teaming up with Mr. Justin Timberlake and singer Kenna, and they are all gonna climb Mt. Kilimanjaro for charity! Big props to him for being so adventurous! Do your thing Lupe!

You Can't Turn a Rapper to a Rockstar

You know the saying "You can't turn a hoe to a housewife" ? Well this applies in this case. We all know of all the success Lil Wayne has been getting. Now he wants to venture off and do something daring! I mean don't get me wrong its good to do that but if you do think wisely about your decision!! This dude thinks he can rock it out with the likes of Mick Jagger, Bono and Kurt Cobain. I could not believe when i heard the rumor Weezy F. Baby was gonna do a rock album. Then the nightmare became a reality. The single from his upcoming album Rebirth, "Prom Queen" was released. Wow. Hot garbage!! I didn't even listen to the whole song. I couldn't do it. And apparantly I'm not the only one who is turned away by this. I even heard that actual rock artists were talking shit about Weezy and of him doing a rock album. While the song was up pretty high on the Billboard, it dropped off the charts as fast as it moved up the charts! Apparantly there were plans for the album to be shelved. Although I wish it did happen, Lil Wayne is still moving on with his next single off the album called "Hot Revolver" Maybe then he will realize that this wasn't a good move when the second single tanks just like the first one. It was a good attempt. But Lil Wayne just needs to stay to where he is best at. Hopefully this will be a lesson to the other rappers who all of a sudden want to be a rockstar. Give up the dream......

My Unbiased Review of The Last Kiss

It's obvious to a lot of people that rap is not what it used to be like it was 10 years ago. In many ways its heading downwards. Rappers nowadays just want to make you move your legs and shake your butt. These rappers are showing they just want to make hits and want big album sales instead of making music for the love of hip hop. They are nothing but sellouts and I absoutely can't listen to the bullshit they are making now. All I do is listen to the old rap from back in the 80's and 90's. That good shit! But i think I did find something that i want to listen to in the 09. The Last Kiss

It is about damn time Jadakiss brings his ass back in the rap game! That's right, the man reppin The Lox and D-Block is back and is still as dope as he ever was in The Last Kiss. The original title was going to be Kiss My Ass (I liked this title better). But he decided to change it for censorship reasons. This 18 track CD is riddled with all kinds of guest appearances such as Nas, Ghostface Killa, Young Jeezy, just to name a few. Of course his D-Block members are in it as well. High production value with the likes of Swizz Beatz, The Neptunes, and The Alchemist. One thing i love about Jada is that he keeps it real. He raps about real shit. The struggles of the hood and our people. Lyrically insane through the whole album with all kinds of metaphors, similies, and punchlines. The good records that stood out to me were of "What If" featuring Nas. Its highly similar to "Why" spittin real political shit. Might make Bill O'Reilly's blood boil again haha! Then theres the "Letter to B.I.G." track paying homage to the late great Christopher Wallace. Death Wish is just straight fire from beginning to end. Jada and Lil Wayne killed it!!! I also like "I Tried" featuring Avery Storm for some reason. Guess its just a chill and mellow song and relates to me at this point. There really isn't one track i don't like. One of the weaker tracks in my opinion was "Grind Hard" featuring Mary J. Blige. She didn't sound well in this one which kinda ruined it.

Other than that everything else is hot!! I ain't giving no damn rating. Just gonna say i highly recommend that you cop it. I mean buy it! Don't get it from the internet. Don't sleep on Jada!
